THE CANAAN BLOG

Blog of a well-known american professor of political science advocating inclusion of Israel and Palestine into the United States of America as a 51st State named Canaan.

Israel: Epitome of Jewish ambitions?

Israel: Epitome of Jewish ambitions?

A common feeling of Jews and Gentiles is that Israel’s
multitudinous  rogueries are justifiable,
to compel a grand atonement for the persecution  of Jews -
the unatonable.

Never do you hear that “Israel is Fun and Games!”
– small-park baseball swollen by borrowings from Uncle Sam
so as to let it play in the Big World Park with the Big Teams.
There is thus no roguery about Israel
– These are all fun and games!

Every historical trip can be imitated.
What fun!
But what about the opposing teams?
What opposing teams? The sniveling Euros? Mother Russia?
The remote Brazilians, Chinese and Indians?
These are the ghost teams of the ghost league.
Palestinians can cluster around a cell-phone to watch.
Three million American Jews and as many agape Gentiles are
the whooping, hollering, paying, popcornivorous fans.

For every pompous and confused official of the many nations,
there is now a matching Israeli official.
Jobs for all.
Over every James Bond from another nation there hovers an Israeli spy.
Too, Israel has lots of double-spies to go along with its double citizens.
What fun and what grisly cute games they play.

I am so proud of Israel.
No country is left over to be envied.
It is the complete rogue.
Even Dead Sea salt sells high.
Its roguery matches its ambitions completely.
Its motto: “For every cut and kind of envy, a snappy roguery.”

Atonement is not unatonable.
Israel is not in trouble.
It is all Fun and Games!
